Could Psoriatic RA Cause Red And Itchy Skin Around Eyes When Scratched?

The skin around my eyes is very red and itches, it even feels different. My eyelids look like patchy dry skin and below my eyes the skin feels tough , looks very red and is very tender if I scratch it. I have psoriatic RA, could this have anything to do with it?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having Psoriatic rheumatoid arthritis.
Psoriatic Rheumatoid arthritis is usually associated with eye diseases like scleritis, episcleritis, conjunctivitis, uveitis...
Psoraisis can also affect the skin of the eyelids along with the involvement of the skin else where.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
