Could Pain In Head, Arms And Hips With Numb Hands After A Hit Indicate Pinched Nerve?
I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT A DEER RAN OUT AND I SWIRVED TO NOT HIT THE DEER AND SIDE SWIPPED A POLE. I HAVE BEEN HAVING SO MUCH PAIN IN MY HEAD DOWN MY ARMSIN MT HIPS DOWN MY LEGE IN MY NECK, DOWN MY ARMS MY HANDS GO NUMBE AND FEET I JUST STARTED A p.c.a JOB I CABT MOVE WITHOUT CRYING THIS IS THE MOST GOD AWFUL PAIN I HAVE EVEVEVEVEVEVRRRRR BEEN IN. WHAT DO I DO AND IS A PINCHED NERVE?
Hello and welcome to HCM, A history of accident (trauma) and pain starting from head to arms, from hips down to legs and numbness in hands and feet are suggestive of entrapment of nerve or nerve pinching. I suggest you to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment. The spinal nerves arise from spinal cord and supply various parts of body. The nerves arising from spinal cord in neck supply the arms and hands and the spinal nerves arising from lumbar spine supply the hips and legs supply the legs and feet. If there is impingement of nerves, decompression will help to relieve the symptoms of pain and numbness.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
