Could Pain In Chest Muscle And Shoulder Be Due To Pulling The Leash Of A Puppy?

Yes, I have had pain in my left chest muscle into my shoulder for quite some time. It seems to get worse after I sleep on my side at night on that side. All my risks for heart disease are in normal ranges. Could it be from walking a large new strong puppy who I am always pulling back on the leash because she is pulling me so hard?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Shoulder joint is like ball and socket joint in which numerous muscle and ligament attached to joint to give stability and strength to joint. So any minor injury to above mentioned structure leads to intermittent pain. You need to start the physiotherapy to regain the strength of your shoulder also try to avoid heavy work with left shoulder.Cold fomentation and shoulder movements exercises will beneficial in this case.
MRI scan will revel the severity of symptoms of shoulder joint, if pain persist then go for it.
Thanks
