Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM.

Food allergy does cause such symptoms but it depends on at what time does the symptoms occurs. if they occur after eating a particular type of food then that food is causing the symptoms & needs to be stopped. Is there any history of loose motions or vomiting? If yes then cause can be bacterial as he is also running fever.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing him good health.
