General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Lumps under the chin are usually harmless.
Most of the time, they're caused by swollen lymph nodes. This swelling is typically triggered by an infection.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Tylenol for the pain.
Antibiotics may be needed if there is an infection,so I suggest to consult an ENT specialist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
