Could Lower Abdominal Pain Be Related To Bulging Disc In Lower Back?

For several years I have had bulging discs in lower back...L3,L4,L5S1. Recently, about 10 weeks ago I was out spraying my yard using a sprayer that must be pumped in order to spray.I used it for about 1 and a half hrs. The next day I could barely move...have had back and lower left abdominal pain simultaneously whenever I walk/stand for more than 15 minutes. The pain can be excrutiating. Because I get both pains at the same time, I m thinking that the lower left abdominal pain is related to the lower back pain. What could be happening?

Hi,

The symptoms of the disc bulge from vertebral inter spaces, depend on, the sector of the nerve root (emerging out from spinal cord through vertebral foramena) is compressed by the disc bulge. So pain in back and abdomen is possible due to the disc bulge you have. Confirmation would be after MRI of the part.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
