Could Loss Of Hearing After Pushing An Earbud Into The Ear Indicate Damaged Eardrum?

i was trying to unblock my ear after swimming ,so i put a earbud into my ear and as i pushed it in i instantly lost hearing in my ear. its been 12 hrs all i hear is static in my ear? have put some olive oil drops in my ear but nothing? do u think ive dammaged my ear drum?

this is not the way to unblock the ear block . in such occasion ear is to be blocked by cotton wool plug. subsequent problem ent doctor should have bee n consulted. voluminous is the correct way to remove the block. it is Eustachian tube block. it can be removed by blowing with closed mouth . can take sudafedtablet and nasal decongestant.
