This is a possible multi-symptom/cause question. I (37yo female)recently (within this present week) developed a self-diagnosed hemorrhoid (I could feel the bump near the anus and had blood with wiping). Accompanying that was slight vaginal itch and now intense points of itching on the buttocks (upper and lower) and genital area. I have had scabies before and this itching feels the same, but there are no visible signs...no redness, burrow lines, or scabs. I still have left over Permethrin 5%. Question: can hemorrhoids cause all these symptoms or is it possible I have scabies again (no one I am in physical contact with has it...don t know where it came from)? I have washed all bedding and towels in hot water and have applied the permethrin within the last 24hrs. How long should I wait to see results or see a doctor? Thank you!
