Could Itching In Hands And Legs Be Related To High Uric Acid Levels?
I have high uric acid problem for last 2 yrs, I discovered it accidently without having any symptom. I took homeopathy medicine for around one year and then stopped it. I have not gone for uric acid test for last 3-4 months as I don’t have any symptom. For last 4-5 days I am facing too much skin itching problem especially in Leg and hand, but with no rediness or spots. Please let me know if it is related with High uric acid? high uric acid is not associated with itching over body areas. from your query it seems that you are taking some Homeopathic medicine for high uric acid. if you are having slin nodules in these area then you should consult your dermatologist to rule out skin infection like scabies. Alternatively get your LFT (Liver function test) done and if level are abnormal then do consult your physician as it may be long term side effect of Homeopathic medicine / liver problem.
