Could Gastric Problems And Headaches Be Linked?

My 12 year old son has severe gastric issues (eog, possible Crohn s, Barrett s) and an ongoing severe headache that has been every day since April 21st. Are the two linked? It seems as his gastro issues increased the headaches were in tandem. Most of the doctors do not believe they are linked.

Thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

Yes gastric problem is link with headache. Vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, nausea these are commonly related to gastric problem .This all problems can cause headache.

Some reserch study show that there us headache complain is more in gastrointestinal problems.

In gastointestinal problems like irritable bowel syndrom or celiac disease there is migrain may present.

So try to solve gastointestinal problem first by taking following care like.....

Drink more water.
Eat high fiber diet.
Avoid spicy and oily food. Avoid junk foods.
Eat fress fruits and green vegetables.

Wish you a good health.
Take care.
