Could Dizziness Along With Nausea And Frequent Urination Be Indication Of A Serious Illness?

Hello, 38 year old female, not pregnant, slightly overweight and a smoker. I have some sinus problems and anxiety issues but this week I have had some random dizzy spells which are worrying me. I cannot get an appointment to see my doctor. I do sit at a desk all day at a computer screen but my eyes are fine, they were tested recently. No headaches or pain just mild nausea and frequent urination. I also have just one ovary. Could it be anything serious?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It maybe due to BPPV or vestibular neurinitis or labyrinthitis or vestibular migraine with UTI. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please get it done urine examination, cardiac and vestibular function estimation, complete blood picture and CT brain.

Use tablet Vertin thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist/cardiologist they will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
