Could Delayed Periods With Spotting, Headaches And Tiredness Indicate Pregnancy?
hi I am 39 years old and been trying to get pregant. Periods having been very normal and my next cycle should begin this Saturday but this past Tuesday, I felt like I was starting but I did not. On Wednesday afternoon, I came home and felt the same way. That evening, I had a slight brown discharge that looked like jelly. It happened another time during the night and then disappered. I have been having headaces more often and I felt like I had the flu last night. Plus the past month I have been very tired and lazy feeling. Could I be pregnant?
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy or any hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease. Spotting and tiredness can be symptoms of early pregnancy. I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done, if negative then do consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
