Could Bleeding While Having Bowel Movement Be Related To Hemorrhoids?

The past two days I've had bowel movements, the first one was easy and pain free the second one was painful and hard. Both times when I got up there was a toilet full of blood. I am a19 year old girl and it looked like I had started my period. I went to the doctor because I was experiencing pain when I have bowel movements and she told me I have Hemorrhoids. But I know that hemorrhoids come from whipping too hard and there shouldn't be that much blood right?

Hello dear

Warm welcome to Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly .

* Usually loose bowel movements are not associated with hemorrhoids .
Hard stools give variable amount of bleeding in stool via friction .

* Suspicious of collitis comes into picture when more bleeding is there
with loose motions .

* Needs clinical examination thoroughly with necessary procto ano scopy
and stool lab test .

Hope this will help you for sure .
Regards .
