Could Black Stools Be Due To Tramadol, Oxycodone And Codeine?

How you going, recentley ive been taking a fair bit of pain medication for a broken hand (about 2 weeks) ive one through a few bouts consipation and managed 2-3 bowlmovments in the past 14 days with teh help of laxacon, and pharmacy enemas, ive alwso recentely started drinking my chlorophyl again, I drink alot of it, 100-200 ml a day and it hlps keep me regualr, i jsut went and passed a bowel movment and it was black! it didnt seem sticky, but i am concerened, the meds are : Tramadol, Oxycodone, Codeine, promethazine

I really appreciate your concern, taking analgesic medicine without any clear indication is not good for health and this may cause constipation too, so to avoid this you need to first stop taking this medicine, here the chances of intestinal infection may be likely and this need to be managed with Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for five days, hope this information helps, take care.
