Could Dexamethasone And Lonsprazole Be The Cause For Weakness In Legs?

My friend has metastatic stomach cancer. she is on various steroids including dexamethasone and lonsprazole. She also takes oral morphine. She has a duodenal ulcer. She is a diabetic. Her major issue is that as a result of the steroids she is on, her muscles on her legs have wasted to the point of making her bed bound. She cannot walk without assistance and has to crawl up and down stairs. she has me to research whether the steroids she is on are the most effective, or if there are alternative steroids and combinations she should be aware of that she can discuss with her oncologist.
