Cough, Cold, Shortness Of Breath, Wheezing. History Of TB

Hi, may I have your answer for the following medical questions,

Basically I have been coughing for almost two weeks now.First I thought it was a cold, but I get this weird taste in my mouth and my throat itches a little. But the most thing I'm concerned about is the shortness of breath and also the wheezing.

A year ago I was diagnosed with TB but it went away after being hospitalised and treated for 2 weeks. Now I'm worried that I might have caught the untreatable TB. Do you catch it or does it just gradually happen.

Please get back to me with your advice

Much appreciated

Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.
If you got treated completely for tuberculosis, then nothing to worry.
The present episode of cough, wheezing could be due to an episode of hyper reactive airway problem.
I suggest you to consult the physician as the cough is lasted more than 2 weeks.
After physical examination, investigations may be required to diagnose the problem.
So I advise you not to delay in consulting the doctor.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
