Chronic Bad Breath, White Coating On Tongue, Tongue Scraper Ineffective
Hi, I have had a chronic bad breath problem for at least ten years now. I have tried every kind of tooth paste, mouth wash, gum, nothing works . I know that the smell is from mykel tongue and there is white coating on my tongue. tongue scraper doesnt work. should i see a doctor?

i read your problem,it seems you did not go for scaling yet.
firstly u go for full mouth scaling and follow all the instructions given by the dentist
for your tongue problem u should go to a specialist, oral pathologist
and follow all the instructions given by oral pathologist
please go for scaling first.

this case seems to be the case of chronic periodontitis associated with stomach disorders. if you feel heart burn, hyper acidity as well then you will need to ask for a gastroenterologist and then a periodontist. and for bad breath, only medication is not the solution, you need to clean your teeth and should go for regular scaling and polishing. regards.

bad breath has local and systemic causes.but surely it can be treated so dont worry.
so this has to be diagnosed first. if local deposits are causing bad breath then get your scaling/cleaning done by a dentist/periodontist . if it is due to some systemic causes that should be treated , for which you need to conult both the physician and periodontist.

My friend, you must visit the dentist and take one nice opinion about this. one more thing is, if you have chewing habit of tobacco, then white non scrappable lesion may be due to this as well.

u can seek a dentist assistance to rid off from ur problem. it may need a scaling to clean all ur teeth. tongue coating has to be evaluated by ur dentist.
