Child Having Swollen Lymph Glands In Groin Area. Growing Bigger, No Puss, Blood Work Is Normal. What It Could Be?

My son has very swollen lymph glands in his groin area. He also has a hugh thing on his leg that looks like an absyss or boyle, however there is no puss coming out and when the Dr lanced it, only blood came out. Feels like his lymph glands are all fused together. No fever. About 6-8 weeks ago he was sick over 103 temp and swelling in the back of his neck. That s when he noticed the lymph glands in his groin also getting bigger. He s 41. Dr did blood work and found nothing in the blood, so never went any further. Said he didn t know what was wrong. Can you at least give me some suggestions where to look at pictures online. This has gone on way to long. Thanks

Thanks for your interest in HCM.According to the history given by you,Tuberculosis should be ruled out by relevant tests, including Mantoux,CBC,Chest x-ray PA view and also FNAC from the enlarged lymph node,Sputum for AFB,if possible, after giving a course of antibiotics for 10-14 days,if there is no regression. The matted lymphnodes is typically present in Tuberculosis in Childhood. Please consult your Pediatrician for further evaluation and management.
