Child Having Headache, Nausea, Vomiting. Is It Gastro Problem? Head Hit Elbow While Playing. Delayed Reaction?

Hi, my almost three year old son woke up with a headache and nausea. He vomited a couple of times, then went to bed and slept for an hour and a half. It doesn't seem like gastro to me as his main cause for concern was his head. He kept complaining that his head hurt and holding his forehead. It made me wonder whether he had bumped his head ... The only thing I could remember was that he was running and playing with his godmother yesterday and her elbow collided with his head awkwardly but not enough for him to really notice or complain about. I guess I would like to know whether it is possible to have a delayed reaction to a bump to the head 15 hours later? We saw a doctor but she said she thought it could be gastro which I disagree with.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
It is good to think in that direction, delayed reaction which is very likely, head injuries are very known for such thing it always brings something very terrible after or within 48 to 72 hours of head injury, it is rule that all the head injury cases should be kept under observation at least for 48 to 72 hours, I would advise you to keep a close watch on kid and if possible keep the kid under medical observation, it is said that prevention is better than cure, have nice day.
