Child Has Repeated Breakout Blisters Hands, Underarms, Thighs, Gave Burn Cream, Antibiotics, Presently Fever, Puffy Eyes, Hurting Throat

For the 3rd time now, my daughter is breaking out in blisters on her hands, under her arms, in between her thighs and on her feet and arms (some of the blisters are the size of a baseball)..the first time I took her to the hospital and they could not figure it out. I took her to her doctor the next day and he gave her burn cream for the blisters so they would not scar and said it must have been an allergic reaction. The second time it happened, I took her to her doctor again...this time he thought it may be a bacterial infection in her blood and gave her 2 antibiotics and burn cream again. Two months later, she is getting them again, this time with a fever (100.2)......What could it be? Also her eyes seem puffy and one eye looks almost like she has a black eye and her throat is hurting

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

I can understand your concern. Without having a look at the lesions it is extremely difficult for me to give any guidance to you. As there has not been any response to antibiotic and the cream and secondly she has developed fever I suggest that consult a skin specialist and even get her investigated. I hope this line of management will help us to come to a right diagnosis and management.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter an early recovery.

Regards,
