Child Has Fever Because He Is Teething. Can I Give Last Year's Acetaminophen That Will Expire Next Month?

Hi my son is 8months old and his running a little fever I know it is because he is teething but I cannot sem to find his medicine and I have no money to buy him any at the moment, but I did find his older sister who is 2 years old's prescription of acetaminophen from when she had got her shots last year it doesn't expire until next month but I was unsure if im able to give him her medicine.....Again I have NO MONEY!!!

you can use the syrup only if the bottle has not been opened
if it has been opened , once the seal is broken you cannot use it after 3 weeks
with tablets it's ok if inside of expiry date
and it's fine to give a 8 month old her PCM
