Child Has Fever. Taking Ibugesic And Mox. What Will I Do?
My son Dibyojyoti is 11 yrs.old and suffering from high fever last 48 hours. As per our family Doctor's advice he is taking Mox-250 & Ibugesic Plus. But no response in fever. Every after 4-5 hours it take near about 103*F-104*F temp. After taking Ibugesic Plus it comes down upto 99*F to 100*F. Now What I will do ? Pl. advice me.

Hi,
The oral antibiotics would take time to start working, within a couple of days when starting. Your boy is reacting well to ibugesic as the fever goes down.
Give him more water and juices (avoid carbonated), soups,etc.. If still high fever after 3 days, check with his doctor again.
