Child Cutting Big Teeth, Having Pain While Passing Stool. Had Clear Discharge From Bum. Should I Be Worried?

hello, my little boy is 2 1/2. he is cutting a big tooth at the back. he has been toilet trained for six months now and going well but twice over the weekend he was in real pain pooing and had to stand up to do it. then tonight I say some clear discharge from his bum..should I be worried or is it just thbe tooth? he is a very energetic boy with a healthy diet.

Dear parent,
Your child is teething and had trouble passing stools. If he is not having loose stools or abdominal pain you can ignore that single episode of discharge from his bum. Do not worry. Since he has difficulty in passing stools that indicates he has constipation. Increase his water and fibre intake - give him more salads and decreae the amount of junk food he eats. At present there is nothing to worry.
