Child. Different Nature And Behaviour Than Entire Family. History Of Blood Transfusion Taken By Mother. Possible Reason?

dear sir. my wife just asked a question and shame on me. i cant answer. help me. my youngest daughter is now 5 yrs.old. she is the only left hand writer in the family. my family and my wife. no one is left hand user. how is this possible? is that because of the blood transfusion that my wife took when she was about to deliver her? my wife also query. my daughter is the most talkative, most shy type too when it comes to dressing where she hide herself to change. not like her elder sister who is nine who is not that shy when it comes to dressing in front of us. My wife group is AB and she receive blood transfusion few days before LSCS. because her blood was low.

Thanks for posting your query here.

There is no relation between handedness and blood transfusion. Handedness is a function of brain and most of the time, it cannot be altered.

Regarding her behavior different to her sister - everybody has a different personality and hence we all are different in some way or other. Even twin brother and sisters do have different behavior, IQ, personal preferences etc.

So, in summary - there is no connection between blood transfusion and handedness. Attitude and behavior can be very different, sometimes even opposite between siblings.

I hope I have been able to help you to solve your queries.
