Cause Of Pain Under The Right Shoulder Blade After Any Physical Work Which Goes Off On Lying Which First Appeared After Lympectomy?

I have a pain under my right shoulder blade mostly in the afternoon after I have done some physical work (even light). I feel an immediate relief when I lie. I feel nothing when sleeping. The first symtoms happened about 4 years ago after lympectomy on my right breast. I was 70, now I am 75. It got worse. X-Rays showed nothing.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain under the right shoulder like you have described is likely to be a muscular pain. This usually subsides on taking rest and mild pain killers.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
