In the last few months, the slightest bumping or lightly scratching a simple itch, large pools of blood appear on my arms. My dr did had me have blood work done, but everything appeared normal. It s very embarrassing. How can I make these stop? I remember my mom having them after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am up to date with my mammograms and I m fine. What should I do?
As per your case history of itching and bumps, my treatment advice is:
1. Do not squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
