Can Visual Seizure Cause Vertigo?

can extremely severe vertigo attacks be a symptom of my visual seizure disorder. These attacks have been a few months apart and have been severe enough that an ambulance has been called and I ve had to stay overnight in the hospital. They have always happened right after I ve experienced slow tightening headache and have lasted for a few hours.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The vertigo episodes can be related to visual seizure disorders but they can also be related to ear issues. Visit an ENT doctor also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
