Can Undiagnosed Asthma Cause Panic Attacks?

i am a nurse being called by a family member: a relative at a museum exhibit had a pulse ox ranging from 70s to 91 on three different pulse oxes, although remainder of group had normal values. girl is thin, age 23, having depression, has mother with history of asthma, Girl In no respiratory distress, but had panic attack yesterday relieved by putting her head between her knees. I advised my sister to call mom, take girl to ER: have you ever heard of a non symptomatic patient with spo2 in 70s, wonder if panic attack may be caused by undiagnosed asthma?
