Can The Pantoprazole Be Causing For Dark Green Color Stool?

For the last few months I have been experiencing lots of bloating and gas. Then last week I vomited quite a bit. Only the vomiting wasn t normal, it was painful just below my breastbone in my upper abdominal area. It was so painful I went into emerge. They did a CBC.....The only thing that came out a bit abnormal was high chloride and a low anion gap. They put me on IV and gave me meds to coat my stomach. They sent me home with a perscription of 2 weeks worth of Pantoprazole. Sometimes the pain comes back in that same area but for the most part the Pantoprazole has been effective. I am learning what foods not to eat that seem to irritate this. I am noticing now that my stools are very dark green. Can the Pantoprazole be causing this? If not what could it be?

no, pantoprazole doesnt cause dark green stools.
its possible cause may be your high intake of vegetables or it may be the color of normal bile salts in your feces.so dont worry.take pantoprazole regularly and i advice you to under go upper GI endoscopy to find the presence of gastritis.
