Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if taking Norethisterone help stop the bleeding during menstruation . Well this medicine can use to reduce blood flow . I would suggedt you to consult gynecologist before taking this medicine , Doctor may also prescribe oral contraceptives , progestin , gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists or danazol . I would suggest you to apply ice packs and take supplements like vitamin C and iron .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
