Can Taking Cepodem AZ Is Safe For Typhoid And Fever Ranging From 90 To 100?

I HAVE been suffering from tyohoid for the last two weeks with fever rangig between 90 and 100.I started taking CEPODEM AZ 250 MG Tab five days back as per advice of my physician Ihave recovered almost fully. have been advised to continue the medicine for another three days.I hope it is alright.Kindly advise me for future course of treatment specially vaccination. The medication advised for you for your Typhoid fever is correct . The duration of antibiotic course for Typhoid is 5-14 days . It depends on the Physician assessment on how long he wants to give the antibiotic course .

Just because he has extended your antibiotic course for 3 days doesn't mean he is wrong or something is wrong with you . It just means he wants to be sure that Typhoid is eliminated from your body . Continue medications as per his advise .

Following Typhoid infections I don't recommend Typhoid Vaccine . You can just be more cautious in your food and water intake .
