Can Stress Cause High Blood Pressure, Chest Pressure And Headaches?

My son is 33, and has been experiencing high blood pressure, chest pressure, headaches for past 2+ weeks. He just changed jobs, so I thought it might be stress. Today his BP is 185/111. He has no medical insurance until April 1 so he has not been to a DR. Should he go to an ER and tell them he has no insurance? Or, just continue to take his BP, chart it and wait until his insurance kicks in?
