Can Smoking Weed Worsen The Levels Of Iron Deficiency?

I am just wondering if smoking weed can will make my iron deficiency worse. I have been tested for iron and am low, and I am sleeping more than normal, as well as feeling physically exhausted 95% of the time. Would this be a combination of low iron and smoking? Or would it have to do with one more than the other? I just smoke a joint before I go to bed so I can actually sleep.

Understanding your concern.


Thanks for your query . For sure you should quit weed smoking if you have iron deficiency . Any narcotic will going to worsen the iron deficiency so you should immediately quit weed smoking. Your are exhausted and dizzy all the times because of low oxygen carrying capacity of your body due to low iron and weed addiction. Both these factors lower oxygen carrying capacity of body and causes fatigue.

I would suggest you to start taking vitamin C to prevent infection, because in iron persons there are great chances of infection due less blood , start doing exercise daily to increase the blood flow , take green leafy vegetables like spinach which is rich source of iron and supplements for iron deficiency.

If condition doesn't get better in 10 - 15 days then consult doctor for proper examination and to find the exact cause . You can also take cumin seeds which are rich source of iron .
