Can Smoking Meth Cause Any Side Effects For Surgery?
I am scheduled for surgery wed oct 15th 2014 I am a functioning addict have been using meth since I was fourteen years old no one not even my dr. suspects this. I eat sleep and maintain good hygiene have all my teeth and even look years younger than my age. if I haven t smoked meth since this wed the 8th will I be ok for my kidney removal surgery this coming week. will the anesthesia still work the same for me as a non user. I am 52 and besides the tumor on my kidney have always been in the optimum of health hgt and wght prop pulse 91 bo 126/87

it is strongly advisable to let your treating surgeon and anesthetist know about all the substance you are using and medications prescribed on, as they all tend to interfere in the metabolism of each other. Certain interactions can be life threatening as well.
