Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently visited a dentist and received NO2 during the procedure (same reaction after 3 separate procedures). My sinus have been giving me problems ever since. I am also experiencing a loss of hearing in my left ear (some also in my right). Is there any relationship between my ears and my sinus ?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus infection and you think it is causing hearing loss, well it could be possible.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order test like hearing test , vitals , blood test , examination with otoscope and CT scan. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics in case of infection along with anti inflammatory medications and corticosteroid ear drops. Yes it could be possible due to pressure imbalance. Apply warm dry compresses and drink green tea thrice a day.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
