Can Shift In Pelvis Occur Due To Pars Defect And Mild Shit ?

15 yr old, competitive swimmer, did a lumbar mri and doctor said there was a pars defect in the L5 and also a mild shift of the L5. Fainted last summer and bone inbetween pelvis went up and had to go to therpy to help bring it down. Could this have caused some of this?

Hi,

Pars defect in L5, it is on both sides can cause slippage of the vertebra called as spondylolisthesis, but this is a chronic process and does not occur at such an early stage. In my opinion, your problem was not related to the pars defect.
