Hello
It seems from the history that your 5 month old suffered a injury and following it he is having redness of the eye.
Since the Xray was normal and no fracture was seen, no need to worry.
The redness of the eye is because of subconjunctival hemorrhage as a result of collection of blood under the conjunctiva. This will decrease by itself and no treatment is required and it it will resolve over 1-2 weeks. Applying hot compression over the closed eye lids and over the site of injury will provide symptomatic relief.

Thank you
