Can Piriton And Paracetamol Taken Along With Doxycycline Cause Itchiness On The Face And Neck And How To Cure It?

Hi, i have been taking doxycycline for my acne problem for past 4 months and i am compliance to it. Recently i took piriton n paracetamol for 3 doses every 8 hourly due to severe running nose and started to have itchiness all over my face and neck. I have stopped taking piriton but the itchiness still persists. Is this allergic reaction? What should i do? Will IV hydrocort stat dose help?Kindly reply my message please. Thank you.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem, your problem is not because of the medicine you are taking but this could be allergic condition, in very severe condition the hydrocortisone is given, and this not the severe or emergency, so hydrocortisone is out of question, long acting second generation anti histamine will give very good result "Levocetrizine 10 mg is the best drug have three time in day stop it when you get the good response, have nice time.
