Can Paracetamol Be Taken With Tea For Fever, Headache And Painful Inner Ear?
Hi Dr. Rynne, I am feeling a bit feverish today and also suffering from slight head ache, left inner ear pain and overall body aches. I just finished eating and was enjoying a nice cup of hot red tea. I need to ask if I can take paracetamol with my tea? Normally I would take it with water but just don t feel like consuming anything cold, especially when am already drinking tea now. Regards, Shane
Hi, Welcome to HCM. It is better to take any tablet with water. However, you can take tablet paracetamol with tea. You may also take with warm milk. Paracetamol controls only fever as it is good antipyretic and weak analgesic. If you need to bring down headaches and pain in ear, you need to take analgesic like ibuprofen along with it. Wish you good health.
