Can Paracetamol Be Taken Along With Clopidogrel?

My partner has recently been prescribed Clopidogrel, Simvastatin and Lansoprazole after suffering a TIA. He occasionally gets headaches and was previously taking Ibuprofen, however, I understand anti-inflammatories interact with Clopidogrel. Is he able to take paracetamol in conjunction with his prescription medication?

Hello,
paracetamol is much safer than non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen or any other. It won't increase the risk for bleeding as the NSAIDs will and will generally be fine for him unless he has a specific intolerance to paracetamol, which is very very rare.
He should only be careful with paracetamol dosage not to exceed 4 grams per day divided into 4-6 doses.
I hope you've got the answer you were looking for.
If you still have questions, please ask! I'll be glad to clarify things for you.
If you're satisfied please don't forget to send a "thank you"!
Kind Regards!
