Can Missed Period Be Suggestive Of Pregnancy?

I had my periods on 25th august.I had unprotected sex on 16th sept and had unwanted 72 within 12 hrs .i then had my periods for 2 days on 28th sept.I took urine test on 12th oct and it was negative but its 31st oct now and i dnt have periods...what could be reason...m i pregnent?

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic .

2 ) As you have mentioned that you have taken emergency contraceptive pill within 24 to 72 hours of unprotected sex act, and you also get period on September 28th. So the cycle of August to September, there was no pregnancy.

3 ) Now, from the cycle starting from 28th September, did you have unprotected sex act in the fertile period t the cycle, means between day 10 to 20 of the cycle. If not , then you need not worry about the pregnancy.

If you had unprotected sex in this period, then I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

4 ) Even If you are pregnant, you can opt for termination of the pregnancy with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under medical supervision.
