Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If your pain is better now, you can always try to stop the drug, but do it after consultation of your doctor. Though you have not mentioned the drug, but generally drugs used for neuropathic pain should not be stopped immediately, we generally stop it by reducing the dose in time of about two weeks.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
