Can Medication For Anxiety Cause Sense Of Tightness In Chest?

My heart has been feeling strained the last couple of days. I ve also felt heavy/a little dizzy at times. I am on anxiety medication and just increased my dosage a couple days ago, but wasn t sure if these feelings were from my anxiety and/or the medication. What are your thoughts? Thank you!

Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic,

I am Dr.Snis Khan,

I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.

Well, first I should know about the medications u used for anxiety,, because different medications may have different side effects, meanwhile I would like to advise u to get an ECG(electrocardiogram) and an ETT (exercise tolerance test).. Please come back to me with your reports and medications names..

I hope this answered all your queries, if you have more queries,I will be happy to answer.

Wish you the best of health.

Regards.
