Can Long Term Usage Of Ambien Cause Pancreatitis?
I have been using 5mg of ambient for a few years. I have a great result with it and can sleep soundly for 6 hours and arise refreshed. However, I was told by a friend that I have a very good chance of getting pancreatitis. I do not drink alcohol. thank you

Let me make it clear that long-term use of Ambien does not cause pancreatitis but excessive use of Ambien can have a negative effect on an individual's memory and sleep patterns. Additional complications of long-term Ambien use include drowsiness during daytime hours, dizziness, hallucinations to name a few.
So you don't worry about pancreatitis but if you are using Ambien for a longer period of time, you should consult your doctor regarding other side effects.
