Can Intracapsular Rupture And Unusual Fibroglandular Tissue In Breasts And Subsequent Advise To Get Mammogram Indicate Cancer?

Hi I had a MRI done of the breasts and I have a intracapsular rupture and they also found unusual fibroglandular tissue in the subareolar region demonstrating decreased signal on all sequences. Tomorrow I am getting a Mammogram to see it better and to see if he needs to biopsy it. Does this mean he thinks it might be cancer?

In medical practice we observe one Principle, that is Lump in the breast is cancer otherwise proved. This is because cancer in the breast is very easy to diagnosis and also have effective treatment. It doesn't mean that all abnormalities in the breast is because of cancer only and it is possible those are may be due to other reasons than cancer.So you should not feel unhappy or be tensioned. One way it is good that the abnormality detected at earlier and you will get appropriate treatment early. It means knowing the exact nature of the abnormality and getting treatment at early state whatever it is.Be positive.
