Can Intercourse Cause Ovarian Pain?
I am 65 white female. Hypertension controled, Type II diabetic controlled w/ meds. I ve been experiencing sharp pains in my left ovary area. I had intercourse 2 nights ago. Could this be related? Never had pains before except when a wk before my periods I would have them. Menses ceased when I was 49.

Very unlikely to have pain in that area normally after intercourse. Considering your age it may be better to get a gynaec check up along with an ultrasound scan to rule out any abnormalities of ovaries and uterus.
