Can Intake Of Homatropine, Maxidex And Pred Forte Cause Extreme Fatigue?

I have iritis and have AS. My job is a payroll administrator with a couple of major projects coming in the next few weeks that involves plenty of data entry. I have been taking homatropine, maxidex and pred fort (every hour). I find I get exhausted with even the smallest of effort. Is it normal to feel all over exhaustion? I am going to ask for a couple more weeks off work? Would that be normal or exprcted?

Hi,

Homatropine relaxes muscles in the iris of eye and these relaxing muscles help to dilate pupils. Extreme fatigue is a rare side effects of homatropine. Maxidex contains Dexamethasone which is an anti-inflammatory medication belongs to the group of medications known as gluco-corticosteroid is used to treat eye inflammation, allergic reactions etc.

General malaise and fatigue are common side effects of anti-inflammatory medication like Dexamethasone. Pred forte contains prednisolone which is a steroid medicine that is used to relieve the redness, itching and swelling caused by eye infections, allergies or inflammation. It has also some common side effects like general malaise and fatigue.
