Can Intake Of Codinex Tablets Disturb Menstrual Cycles?

Hello, I was wondering does codinex sometimes mess up the menstrual cycle? I m a bit worried as my period is just over a week late. I last had sex the day after my last period finished, not on the pill but used a condom..I took a pregnancy test a week ago and it was negative but I m still anxious. I was taking codinex about 2 weeks after my last period for a bad throat infection so I m wondering if maybe that has slowed down my cycle? Thanks for your help

Hello,

Codinwx does not affect menstrual cycles. If you experience menstrual abnormalities, it is better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated to rule out possible causes like PCOS.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
