Hi. I am a type 1 diabetic from Canada that had back surgery here at Bayfront Neurological unit in Saint Petersburg Florida in February I was release in late March and due to the costs of my insulin (Humalog) and Levemir I am waiting to have my refills sent from Canada where they are covered by my insurance. I have some left to last me till they arrive this week but I have no syringes. I called my Canadian doctor and he said I had no issues as syringes didn t require a script in florida but everywhere my wife goes to get a box or even a few bags she is rejected. I have my old bags and bogs so she has labels but ot sure why we can get the syringes as pharmacy says the insulin needs to be bought there. My Canadian doctor says that s wrong but its not helping me and with the steroids they have me on for my back repair my sugar is in the 300 s and its the one things the neurosurgeon said would slow my recovery. Is there a simple solution to this? there is a walgreens right near me
