It is very true that type 1 diabetes patient do receive daily and timely insulin injections. To maintain the normal glucose levels.

Dr. I am ramachandran aged 73 = years. My Dentist when informed me to check RBC I found that my sugar level is high and started taking medicine for diabetic. Initially I was taking DIAPRIDE table of i mg for two to three years i.e 2008/09 Recently in 2012. when an old scar type skin in my leg, which I am told my parents that some sore occurred when I was very young say - 4-5 years and after a long tie it healed leaving a scar type of skin very thin in nature. When this has opened up my physician recommended to take Diapride 2 mg 2-0-2 and Insugen 40 iu ml injection of 20 ml to be taken before bed time. My sugar level is around 160 level I do good physical exercise and feel fit. I ride scooter and move like a normal person I am taking Amtas 5 mg for my Blood Pressure in night with 75mg Ecosprin. I want to get rid of this injection. Is there way out. I also seeen a TV item recommending to consume Bitter guard dried in sunlight and powdered and take one spoon in mild warm water. My mother is 62 years old and suffering from High BP for the last 10 years and Diabities since last 2 years. Her treatment is still going on. Till today she was taking medicines but now doctors are saying that she has to take insuline injection. After taking every precaution, before meal her suger level is 145 and after meal 280. What can i do in this condition? Is insulin injection is only option or any ways are still pending?

In 2006 I had CT of the abdomen and they found a 3mm cyst lesion, low density area. in the body of the pancreas. It hadn t changed from the previous CT in 2003 and diagnosed as chronic. I haven had another CT since then. It s been 6 years and now I have abdomen issues with digestion. Should I be concern over it or is it a negligible problem.
